Music Program


The Music Ministries of the Millburn Congregational United Church of Christ offer diverse music and styles to the church community.

The Adult Choir is active January through May and September through December. They sing during the 10:00 a.m. service on the first and third Sundays of the month. Their rehearsals are scheduled every other Wednesday, 7:15 to 8:15 p.m. and on the Sundays they sing at the 10am service.

The Millburn Church House Band is a contemporary mix of voices, drums, acoustic, electric and bass guitars, clarinet, and piano. This group provides music for the 10:00 a.m. services every second and fourth Sunday of the month from September through May. Rehearsals take place every other Wednesday beginning at 7:15 p.m.

The Adult Handbell Choir performs on fifth Sundays and at other special times during the year. For many years the group performs Christmas music at the Fox Lake Library. The Handbell Choir also performs with the Adult Choir and Millburn Church House Band on special occasions. Practices take place on Wednesday evenings from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m.
 in the great room.


The Cherub Choir comprises Sunday School children ages three to six. They sing during the 10:00 a.m. service every 3rd Sunday of the month, September through May, and at the Christmas Program, on Mother’s Day and Promotion Sunday.
