Friends support group, this worship service provides an alternative to the
traditional holiday gatherings. Sunday, Dec. 11 at 6:30pm in the Millburn Church

PJ Night from 4:30-600 pm
Children are invited to an evening of stories, hot
chocolate and cookies. Wear your pajamas, bring your stuffies, and let’s have fun.
Wearing her own Christmas pajamas, Pastor Miranda will share the story of the
nativity. We will put together the nativity scene, talk about the animals in the stable
that night, and will end with special refreshments. It will be a fun and cozy evening!
Christmas Eve Worship
4:00 pm Family Service
11:00 pm Candlelight Service
With Special music. All are welcome!
10:00am service only. Wear your favorite or ugliest Christmas sweater and enjoy a Christmas Carol singalong.
Friendly Greetings Cards: Send thoughts and prayers to fellow church friends. Just stop at
the table in Lauren Hall to sign greeting cards for those of the congregation who
need support, encouragement, or who we haven’t seen in a while. It’s simple… If
you see a card, jot a note and sign it. If you don’t see a card for someone, start one.
To ensure delivery, cards will be limited to people listed in the church directory.
Remember, it is up to you to help start cards so we are less likely to overlook
someone. Contact Tricia Mathis, Discipleship Committee chair, with questions.
Coffee Hour: Host the social coffee hour. Bring baked goods, snacks and a beverage for all to
enjoy after church. Ask a friend to co-host and help with serving and clean-up.
Usher: Sign up to serve as an usher during worship service.
Lay Reader: Sign up to serve as Lay Reader for a worship service.
Flowers: Sign up to donate flowers to adorn the altar. Note any special reason such as birthday, anniversary, special occasion or memorial.
Electronic Giving: Set up convenient and consistent giving to support the church and your
financial giving preferences. Pick up the detailed handout on the welcome table.
